Welcome to Very Special Homosexual Episode, a fun brief series where I recap standalone lesbian episodes from classic TV shows that are not otherwise necessarily gay. In this installment, we will discuss Living Single Season Three, Episode “Woman-to-Woman”
There are few television shows that I would consider myself a legitimate TV “scholar” of — not in the way I would Living Single. Famously, my obsession with the peak 90s FOX sitcom lead to me having a Queen Latifah-themed birthday party in second grade. Ive watched it quite nearly daily since it first went off air in , first in after-school reruns and cable syndication, then on DVD (they only released the first season, a tragedy, but that did not stop me), and now on streaming. And every reunion show? Behind-the-scenes oral history? I was there. The Internet loves to joke about “besties” but Khadijah, Maxine, Synclaire and Regine? Those are my besties forreal. Those girls hold me down. Not past tense.
And maybe it’s because Living Single is still so alive for me, such a part of my everyday life, that I was shocked to find out that September marked its 30th birthday. For one, I refuse to be that old. But more to the poi

Do A Slow Decision Process That's Mostly But Maybe Not Completely Over. Sometimes when there's a family decision, the family can keep talking about it for months, on and off-- in the ride, at meals, whenever-- with everybody weighing in with different points of view. Over the last scant months, I've been talking to the parents in one family like that. Back when I first chatted with them in December, I asked the dad in the family how often the topic comes up.

This is Lotan Pinyan. What he's talking about with his wife Michal is, where are they going to live next? They're a youngish couple in Israel with three kids-- 9, 11, and 13 at the time of this conversation. Both educators, he's head of development, building a school and a campus for Bedouins, nomadic Arab tribes. And Michal--
Michal
I'm an educational counselor.
Lotan
No, she's a physician of education. OK? She's a doctor of education.
Ira Glass
Lotan, why perform you feel like you have to jump in and say that?

Family Guy is about to return for its 23rd season with some fruity episodes lined up to air. Among the highlights is a parody of the classic film Uppermost Gun, which promises to feature an homage to the film’s iconic volleyball scene, described as oiled-up. In a particularly intriguing episode, Peter Griffin and his friends embark on a perilous sailing journey that culminates in their shipwreck on Fire Island. The storyline unfolds as Peter, frustrated by his wife Lois, expresses a desire to escape to a planet populated solely by men—a wish that miraculously comes true. They don’t grasp what Fire Island is, but they love it, Appel shared with TVLine, shedding light on the comedic premise of the episode. Notably, the traits of Julian, who serves as the island’s charismatic leader, will be portrayed by Cole Escola, recognizable for his role in the acclaimed Broadway film Oh, Mary!
The new season seeks to diversify its comedic elements, but it will notably avoid revisiting certain political figures. Despite Peter’s previous involvement in a tw
