HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Six of Hayim Cohen's adopted sons gave their victim impact statements Monday morning before he is sent to prison for 40 years.
In 2023, Cohen was taken into custody after one of his adopted sons made an outcry about sexual abuse on a podcast. At the time, the boy was 17 years old. The boys were removed from the home at the time.
The teen said he and his brothers were being sexually abused by their adoptive father and used the term "rape." He said Child Protective Services (CPS) had conducted eight investigations into the family, but nothing ever came of it.
Last week, Cohen pleaded guilty to four counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child and was given 40 years in prison for each count. He also pleaded guilty to indecency with a infant and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The sentences will operate concurrently, so he will spend 40 years in prison without the possibility of parole. A gay couple was jailed for 100 years for allegedly raping their two adopted sons, aged between 10 and 12 years. The incident was reported in the US state of Georgia.
William and Zachary Zulock, 34 and 36, were each sentenced to 100 years in prison last week, the New York Publish reported. They were denied any possibility of parole, the Walton County District Attorney’s office reportedly announced.

Zachary worked in banking and William was a government employee.
“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dim desires above everything and everyone else,” said District Attorney Randy McGinley, according to WSB-TV.
According to reports, the boys — two brothers aged 12 and 10 years — were adopted from a Christian special-needs agency by the Zulocks.

Reportedly, they raised the kids under the guise of a happy place but, in reality, sexually abused them, recorded pedophilic pornography and offered the kids to their friends.

“However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case. The resolve I have seen from these two adolescent victims over the last two years is truly inspiring,” he said.
How did the harrowing crime approach to light?
