About gay male sexuality
Many men report that they had experiences with people of the same sex when they were young. This is often a normal part of exploring their sexuality. Men who depart on to describe themselves as ‘same-sex attracted’ or ‘gay’ have a tough physical and emotional attraction to men that they don’t usually feel for women.
Being a gay bloke is natural
There is a lot of pressure from society for young men to be heterosexual or ‘straight’. This can often cause feelings of isolation for young men who are gay and create them scared to demonstrate their sexuality.
It’s vital to remember:
- There are male lover men in every customs and every country.
- Being homosexual is just a develop of sexuality.
Why some men are gay
There is no real explanation as to why some men are gay and others are not. Although there is no right or false answer to the doubt, a possible reason suggested by researchers is that we are born with our sexual orientation.
Knowing whether you’re gay
There is no test or questionnaire you can complete that will answer this question for you. If you consider you might be homosexual, it’s important that you:
- Don’t deny your feelings.
- Take your time to explore your sexuality
What the brave unused wave of gay male pop stars means for music
It was a moment that will go down in gay history.
There was Lil Nas X living his midriff-baring truth during his performance of his No. 1 hit “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” on the season finale of “Saturday Evening Live” last month.
Surrounded by six male dancers wearing nothing but do-rags and a smile from the waist up, the Georgia-born rapper slithered around a stripper pole in leather chaps.
It was a keen turn from “Old Town Road” directly onto Christopher Street and smack dab in the middle of Go-Go Boysville. Breaking a longstanding if unwritten taboo, it brought gay sexuality from the underground to the mainstream right there on broadcast TV.
Now, as we celebrate Pride Month, Lil Nas X and the brave new wave of young gay male pop stars are more visible and visionary than ever, making proud and provocative statements about their sexuality. Proving that this is their time to be their authentic selves — uncompromisingly, unapologetically and unambiguously — they are boldly waving the rainbow flag for generations to come in music’s LGBTQ movement.
Lil Nas X had been building to this kind of cultural
We’re here to help juvenile gay and same sex attracted men (under 26) take control of their health.
We provide information on relevant health issues, and we offer a range of specific and general services delivered by kind people who genuinely perceive the health issues affecting young gay and similar sex attracted men.
Our Serve With Young Gay Men
We run a range of FREE peer-led events, workshops and projects for lgbtq+ and same-sex attracted guys aged 18-26.
Through our perform, we provide a place where young guys can meet each other and make new friends in a safe, social environment. Here they can contribute ideas with their peers and learn more about identity, coming out, sex and sexual health, strong relationships and more.
Young same-sex attracted men have lower rates of HIV and sexual health testing than older members of the people. Of course, this makes sense. Only after people overcome the initial barriers to testing for the first time are they able to commit to a regular testing pattern. We help young guys to share their experiences around testing and know why regular testing is important for all sexually active gay men.
We serve in both a face-to-face capacity as well as online
Gay Relationship Advice: Age Gaps in Gay Relationships
Many of my LGBTQ counseling clients ask me why they are only attracted to gay men younger than themselves. If you are happy dating gay men in their twenties, then this question is not important. It’s like asking “Why do I opt favor blondes over brunettes?” My advice is to consent yourself enjoy dating whomever interests you (as extended as they are over the age of 18).
Age gap relationships are more common than you may realize. In western countries:
- 1 out of every twelve male/female couples has an age gap of 10 years or more
- that number increase to 25% in male/male couples
- and 15% of female/female relationships
That same examine indicated that age gap partners are more satisfied and more committed to each other than partners of similar age–though there is some research that points to a correlation with higher rates of divorce. Research also shows that couples with an age gap of less than ten years are happier than those with an age gap greater than ten years.
