Is amir gay

The “You Don’t Love Me Podcast” is life from the perspective of a gay South Asian couple – husband and husband team Amir and Aamir.

I first met them both after seeing an online interview with Amir and Aamir during Pride in London.  We were just wrapping up filming of our Foundation’s new documentary My God, I’m Queer  and so I reached out to them to see if they’d emerge in our film. They said yes and soon became an important part of the project.

Shortly after they got in stroke to invite me on to their podcast to talk about Naz, our Foundation and the perform that we do…

Episode description

“In episode 22 we talk to the inspirational Matt Mahmood-Ogston who is the founder of the Naz and Matt Foundation. Matt tells us his story and about the origins of the Foundation, as well as talking to us about his bond with Naz and plans for the future of the Foundation.”

Our love affair with the U.K. continues as we welcome the fabulous Amir & Aamir, a gay South Asian married couple and the hosts of the "You Don't Love Me" podcast.

Priya opens the conversation with Amir & Aamir talking about their experiences as homosexual people of color in New York City and the U.K., as successfully as around the earth. They also share how they met and fell in love, as skillfully as why they started the podcast. Later, they share details from their recent event with London's Club Kali, the longest-running South Asian LGBTQ+ party. Finally, they end with a few games, including a very fiery rapid-fire (thanks, Karan Johar)!

Israel: Amir Ohana becomes first openly gay minister

Knesset

The first openly gay man to become a minister in Israel has been appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Amir Ohana, of Mr Netanyahu's Likud party, was named as acting justice minister following the sacking of the previous office holder.

Mr Ohana, 43, is a Netanyahu loyalist, who backs moves to preserve the prime minister from possible prosecution.

His appointment comes days after parliament dissolved itself in preparation for fresh elections.

Mr Netanyahu fired the previous justice minister, Ayelet Shaked, three days ago. Shaked's party, which was part of Netanyahu's coalition, did not acquire enough seats to come back to parliament in elections in May.

Israelis will move back to the polls in September after Mr Netanyahu failed to receive support from enough parties to form a brand-new government.

Announcing his appointment, the prime minister's office said Mr Ohana was a former lawyer who was "very familiar with the justice system".

Mr Ohana is a strong supporter of Mr Netanyahu, and has given his backing to a controversial bill to grant a sitting prime minister immun

The search for your latest Netflix binge ends right here. Gripping, nuanced and urgent, Brooklyn-set high college drama Grand Army, adapted from creator Katie Cappiello’s own 2013 play Slut, follows the lives of a diverse group of students navigating contemporary teenage life. Among them is Indian-American Sid Pakam, played by Degrassi: Next Class star Amir Bageria, a swim team captain questioning his sexuality while the pressure piles up as he applies for a place at Harvard. Two of the ten season one episodes are directed by Emmy-nominated trans trailblazer Silas Howard, who has directed episodes of LGBTQ hit series such Transparent, Pose and Tales of the City, among many other credits.

Ahead of today’s global launch of Grand Army on Netflix, The Queer Review’s editor James Kleinmann spoke exclusively with Amir Bageria about taking on the role of Sid, the investigate he did including talking to his older brother who is gay about coming out, and his love for Brokeback Mountain and Frank Ocean.

James Kleinmann, The Queer Review: Congratulations on the series, one thing that I really liked it is that the series doesn’t objecti
