Cruising gay beach

Post Views:51,318

Mykonos has long enjoyed its worldwide reputation as a gay vacation hotspot. Much more so than other places I’ve written about, such as Sitges or Gran Canaria – probably only rivaling Amsterdam in terms of reputation. But similar to Amsterdam, that reputation seems to be at least partially fading. That doesn’t indicate, however, that I don’t recommend visiting Mykonos, especially if one of your prime motivations is to get your rocks off. Much to the reverse, Mykonos is a excellent destination for gay couples and singles who desire to have a bit of naughty fun. Enjoy John’s Mykonos Gay Cruising guide for the optimal gay cruising experience on the Greek island on tips for gay hotels, gay clubs, and outdoor cruising on Couple of Men.

However, I was surprised that the homosexual aspects of this island are much more subtle than, for example, Sitges, which is one of the few places in the world where I’ve felt that gay men are in the majority. Mykonos is definitely not Ibiza or Gran Canaria or Mallorca. It’s subtle. A bit more relaxing. That does not detract from the fact that Mykonos feels ve

The Art of Gay Beach Cruising

Let's be honest – gay beaches aren't just about getting the ideal tan. For decades, they’ve facilitated hookups and opportunities for Voyeurism. While digital dating apps have changed the game, there's something timelessly thrilling about the chemical-free, in-person art of beach cruising that no amount of digital innovation can replicate.

This guide explores the delicate dance of homosexual beach cruising – a practice with unwritten rules, regional variations, and a rich history within Gay culture. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a curious newcomer, understanding this aspect of gay tradition can considerably enhance your beach experience.

A Brief History: From Necessity to Tradition

Before dating apps and openly gay establishments, beaches offered rare public spaces where gay men could combine with relative safety. Secluded coves and designated sections of shoreline became acknowledged through word of mouth, creating spaces where Queer people could be themselves.
What began as a necessity evolved into tradition, with beaches like Jacob Riis in New York, Black's Beach in San Diego, and Herring Cove in Provincetown developing decades-long re

Ten Pointers for a Homosexual Ole Time at Marshall’s Beach

With warmer weather approaching, talk of beach trips among your circle will surely float past you. In gay circles, it’s Marshall’s Beach. Perhaps you’ve never been to Marshall’s Beach. You heard about it from a companion, maybe you’ve wondered where gays keep getting those up-close Golden Gate Bridge selfies. Maybe you just want to be nude on the beach with your friends in the sun. In addition to your regular beach fare (sunscreen, towels, sunglasses, etc.), you should:

Poop first.

Gross! Well trust me, you will thank yourself. Go even if you don’t have to leave. There are no restrooms on Marshall’s Beach. The closest facilities are a rough mile hike down the shore above family-friendly Baker Beach. No matter what you plan to do with your butt at Marshall’s Beach, transparent the chamber before you get there. You don’t want to find yourself at the bottom of a cliff when last night’s dinner finally drops. On such a miniature strip of land there are no trees or cover of any caring, let alone anythi

What is the official gay beach in Barcelona?

Barcelona is well-beloved for its beaches and is recognised globally for how incredible they are. In fact, National Geographic has listed it as the number one best beach city in the nature.

Whilst only two out of Barcelona's beaches are considered officially “gay”, we found that every solo one we went to is gay-friendly. The official gay beaches of Barcelona are San Sebastian and Mar Bella. However, there are a few others to check out, particularly as you head into Sitges.
