Donor-Friendly Funeral Homes
Iowa Donor Network could not achieve its mission of transforming lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation without the assistance of funeral homes. The role receiving funeral homes play in the donation process is immeasurable and we appreciate all they do to support donor families following their loved one’s token of donation.
Iowa Donor Network established the Donor Friendly Funeral Home Program to recognize Iowa funeral homes that have taken a proactive approach toward donation by either: making a referral, hosting a donation related education, flying the Donate Life flag or going above and beyond to assist in the donation process. The funeral homes listed below contain met the established criteria and are considered a Donor Friendly Funeral Home.
To discuss how your funeral home can be recognized as a Donor Friendly Funeral Home, please contact Rick Ramsey or Amanda Heyward at 515−727−7897. Both Rick and Amanda can be also reached toll-free at 1−800−831−4131.
