Not sure if this has been discussed or not, but what is the gay community like in Cleveland? How predominant is it? Are there any defined neighborhoods? I am visiting in the spring and was wondering. Thnak you very much. |

One word....Lakewood. I don't know much about Cleveland's gay society, but i know there are a lot of gay people living there. I also know there are (or used to be) some gay bars across the Detroit Dominant bridge from downtown in what i believe is Ohio City. I only know this because i was in downtown about 8 years ago, lots of traffic at midnight and i had to use the restroom, bad! My boyfriend pulled up to the curb at the first bar we could find and told me he'd wait for me. I didn't look after where i was or if i had to pay a cover, i just had to go!
